Local Transportation Info:
Tram C stops between Gare St. Jean and the Expo. Here are the “center” locations along the Tram C route which goes to either direction.
The “downtown areas are:
Porte de Bourgogne, Place de la Bourse, Quinconces, Jardin Public, Paul Doumer.
Sainte-Croix and Saint-Michel are close to the Gare, but the areas are nicer and can be quieter since we will be many many people going to the same place.
On the other end, Place Ravezies, Cracovie and Les Aubiers are a little quieter areas as well because they tend to go a bit outside of the city toward Vinitech which is a large “stadium” type place.
Just to give some context to the areas.
Quinconces is a place where 2-3 different tram lines converge- this is where people switch tram lines if needed.
Tram line C is the direct one from the Gare to Vinitech and the stops mentioned above are along that route with no lines to switch.
